MIA MORETTI + CAITLIN MOE Live at ANIMAL HOLLYWOOD
Last night my friends Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe performed an amazing live DJ / violin set at ANIMAL… I’m still totally blown away by how good it was!!
I’ve been doing the Hollywood / party / club thing for a long time and I’ve never seen anything like this — it’s kind of what my friend DJ AM was doing with Travis Barker, but I think even better, and of course it’s kinda like this 80s gem. A few minutes before they went on, Caitlin and I were talking about Shostakovich and Ravel — composers that have probably never been associated with (or mentioned in) a Hollywood club — and then she got up and did this amazing set of popular music. The audio from my camera is pretty horrible and you had to be there really understand how good it was, but I hope you’re as impressed by Mia and Caitlin as I am.
